cURB, gUTTER, AND pAN sETTLEMENT Foam Jacking and Leveling

While sinking sidewalks are a hassle, curb and gutter settlement is a major problem for many cities. With drops of 4 or more inches regularly seen, trip hazards at curb drop inlets and curb and gutter sections can be major liabilities for cities. Over the past few years JACKCRETE has focused on creating more economical options for curb and gutter settlement restoration, providing a solution that incurs no downtime, road closures, and for a fraction of the cost of replacing curb and gutter concrete.

Curb and Gutter Lifting Contracts

For Virginia cities and counties, working with JACKCRETE is simple. Most of our current partnerships operate off of the piggyback clause in our York County contract, minimizing the time and hassle between our first talk and our first repaired slab. For your team, it is as simple as submitting Purchase Orders that reference our existing contract, allowing you to use the same pricing schedule and contract terms without the work involved to set up a new full contract. Download our cooperative clause contract and sample PO below, and feel free to give us a call or send us an email to further discuss the process of setting up a PO with us.

Lifting Curb and Gutter Versus Replacing the Concrete

Curb and gutter replacement is a significantly more involved process, requiring heavy equipment, traffic control, and lots of downtime. These extra factors greatly affect the price. Concrete replacement can be 2-4 times as expensive as using JACKCRETE to lift and level curb and gutter systems. Every city needs a good concrete replacement contractor, but for settled sections of curb and gutter, the smarter solution is JACKCRETE.
