Polyurethane concrete raising is the process of lifting and leveling unstable slabs of concrete using an environmentally safe polyurethane foam. The polymer fully cures in about 15 minutes and weighs only 2 pounds per cubic foot of material so as to not add any additional weight to the substrate. It is impervious to moisture or decay ensuring that the repair will not only be environmentally friendly, but will last a lifetime.

Heavy machinery can cause an unwanted upset in soil and/or concrete movement. We can stabilize weak soil in areas of heavy equipment use, or use controlled injections to lift concrete where needed. 

Void Fill

When heavy equipment and machinery is placed on concrete poured over improperly compacted soil, voids can form underneath the concrete. Strategically placed polyurethane injections can fill and support these voids while rehabilitating the existing surface.

Gap Sealing

This process involves injecting polyurethane into the substrate adjacent to the effected areas. The foam fills the cracks and deteriorated areas at the same time removing any depressions. Once cured, a sealer is placed over the repair which prevents any further failure or deterioration caused by erosion from standing water.

Soil Stabilization

Soil Stabilizer polyurethanes are designed to bind and stabilize loose soils. This binder is a low viscosity component polyurethane that when pumped into the soil reacts with moisture to expand, fill voids, and form a water tight barrier.

The proper maintenance of sidewalks is paramount to maintaining the safety of a community. By injecting JACKCRETE spray foam, we are able to lift and level the sunken sidewalk slabs. This eliminates the potential of a trip-and-fall and stabilizes the subsoil so that settling does not occur again.

JACKCRETE is able to repair storm drains without any excavation or replacement of infrastructure. Through the use of polyurethane foam, the surrounding area is stabilized and the potential for further damage minimized.
