rELIABLY fIXING cURB, gUTTER, AND pAN sETTLEMENT
While sinking sidewalks are a hassle, curb and gutter settlement is a major problem for many municipalities. With drops of 4 or more inches regularly seen, trip hazards at curb drop inlets and curb and gutter sections can be major liabilities for cities. Over the past few years JACKCRETE has focused on creating more economical options for curb and gutter restoration, providing a solution that incurs no downtime, road closures, and for a fraction of the cost of replacement.
Soliciting Work From Jackcrete
For municipalities and government entities in Virginia, soliciting work from JACKCRETE couldn’t be easier! With cooperative clauses in two of our current contracts, other cities and departments are able to issue Purchase Orders referencing our other contracts without the hassle of putting the work out to bid. It really couldn’t be easier- that’s why our current and previous clients include the cities of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Hampton, Newport News, Arlington, and Alexandria. If you are confused (government contracting is anything but simple) don’t worry, our team is here to help get you situated. Just give us a call or send us an email and we will be happy to walk you through the requirements of setting up a PO with us.
How Does The Price Compare to Replacement?
Concrete replacement is a significantly more involved process, requiring heavy equipment, traffic control, and lots of downtime. These extra factors greatly affect the price- replacement can be 2-4 times as expensive as using JACKCRETE to lift and level concrete slabs. Every city needs a good concrete replacement contractor, but for settled sections of curb and gutter the smarter solution is JACKCRETE.
What Can I Expect During My Meeting?
Our estimates generally take about 30 minutes to an hour depending on how many areas you’d like us to look at. We never use high pressure sales tactics- we don’t even discuss pricing during our first meeting. Our focus is to provide you with the best advice on how to fix your problem, whether or not it involves our service.
Once our estimator arrives back to the office, your proposal is created and sent out either the same day or the following morning. Whenever you have questions about the estimate, we’ll be here to answer them and provide as much help as we can!
